Family That Lived With Elephants

To begin with, Dr. Iain Douglas-Hamilton is a young Scottish scientist and his family are at the centre of this documentary. In fact, there were over 500 elephants in the area.

Indeed, the documentary was from 1983 and has the vintage feel to it. Moreover, family hardly say anything in the show. As a matter of fact, the commentary is from David Niven.

The documentary also continues to show how the fertile area is able to support a massive herd of elephants. Obviously with such a large population of elephants, food is at a premium.
